About The Retreat

After a very successful first year, we are back to the Algarve to run our second 5 day yoga and fitness retreat. The Quinta Agave is our base for this retreat - accommodation made up of 6 separate apartments, an outdoor kitchen, dining and bbq space, outdoor pool and surrounding garden. We run our yoga sessions on the rooftop here as well as some garden workouts. Activities during the retreat include a guided sunrise standup paddle board session in Lagos, guided coastal hike and bike rides, beach workouts and sea swims, daily yoga sessions and fitness classes. All activities are optional, however we encourage people to get as involved as possible! There is free time every afternoon where people can bike into the local fishing town of Burgau for some beach time (or cocktail time!), or hang out at the Quinta's pool. All the food is prepared by our amazing chef Katie and is vegan or vegetarian. We provide 3 delicious meals a day as well as snacks and a cheeky glass of wine at dinner. We welcome all ages and abilities on this special retreat and look forward to having you join us in Portugal!

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this retreat suitable for?

Our workouts and yoga sessions are designed for all fitness abilities and ages to be as inclusive as possible. For the Portugal retreat, we recommend being confident on a bike as we use the bikes most days to get around and to be able to swim in order to join our sunrise SUP session.

What do I need to pack?

We provide each guest with a packing list prior to the retreat to use a guide. All equipment for the retreat is provided by us so there's no need to bring anything other workout clothes, suitable shoes for hiking and some padded cycling shorts if you have them!

Do I need to have paddleboarded before?

No previous paddleboarding experience is required for the guided sunrise session. We use a reputable SUP guiding company for the session with two instructors to help the group. We do require that you are able to swim confidently in order to join in.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

All of our food is lovingly prepared by our chef Katie and is plant based or vegetarian throughout the retreat. If you have any other dietary requirements, please let us know upon booking and we can cater to these.
