Autumn is a transition period from Summer - the season of 'Doing' to Autumn which is now the season of 'Being'. As the seasons externally to us change and adjust, means that we must too. When we live in accordance with nature's natural rhythms, we experience health and longevity physically, spiritually and emotionally. However if unbalanced, the qualities of Autumn can manifest as: šŸ‚ Cold šŸ‚ Dry šŸ‚ Rough šŸ‚ Erratic šŸ‚ Exposed and bare šŸ‚ A feeling of emptiness WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR DAY RETREAT/AFTERNOON? ā˜• Enjoy an organic cinnamon latte or cinnamon herbal tea on arrival. Cinnamon warms the blood circulation and is a warming spice perfect for Autumn that promotes equilibrium (vital in a season of transition and often uncertainty for many!) šŸ§˜ Enjoy the 60 minute Autumnal Bliss Yang to Yin yoga practice. Transitioning from Doing (Summer) to Being (Autumn), your yoga practice will be focusing on supporting the lungs and large intestines which are the main organs needed to be cared for in this season. šŸŒ² During the second part of the afternoon, we will be going for a grounding, fresh Autumnal Woodland walk around Hatfield House. It is important to optimise light exposure during this season especially as shorter and darker days may begin to emerge. šŸ’¤ To close the afternoon, you will experience a 30 minute 'Transitioning to Autumn Yoga Nidra' practice. Known as 'Yoga of Sleep', this 30 minute practice will be a gentle and guided process where you will be lying down comfortably. Through breath awareness, body scans and visualisation to name a few things, you will be guided to draw your awareness inwardly and fall in to a deep state of blissful awareness before you leave the event. šŸŒæ Throughout the afternoon, you will have access to the Wellbeing Table. Think of fresh organic herbal teas, herbal tinctures as well as herbal remedies to support your body leading up to the colder Autumn and Winter months. During your break, you will enjoy a fresh elderberry tonic (full of vitamin c to support your immune system) as well as other healthy snacks. šŸŽ Before you head home, you will be gifted with a luxury gift bag to continue your relaxation and wellbeing journey once the event is over which will be worth more than the ticket price alone.
