About The Retreat
There is surely no better way to celebrate the traditional hogmanay and new years than to travel to Scotland. We are going to indulge in some serious wellness treats. From saunas on the loch, to climbing mountains or stretching it all out with some yoga flows, this retreat brings together all the elements to ensure you return home feeling well rested. With plenty of room to tailor the retreat, you can pick and choose which activities to take part in, with no obligation to do any of it. There will be laughter, there will be celebrating ourselves and others, there will be rejoicing and there will be fun and adventure. Seriously what more could you ask for? Oh New Years day on top of a mountain? Sure, why not! You really will be on top of the world. Or you can choose to spend the afternoon lounging in the sauna with a cold dip in the loch - if you are brave enough ! Join your hosts Laura Grace and John Angus on this amazing adventure to discover the 'wyld' part of you inside. Touching the parts of your soul that you have forgotten about for too long. Reawakening the parts that have been sleeping and rekindling the embers that are longing to burn bright once more. With yoga, walking, laughing eating and sleeping we will touch on what it means to treat self care as not only a luxury but also as a necessity.

Brunch - a hearty wholesome post yoga brunch to get you on your way

Out and about on the Island. Trips to the fairy pools and gentle hikes around the island. This retreat is beginner to intermediate on the walking front. Expect hikes of around 2-3 hours with some inclines and stunning scenery
3:30PM - 5:00PM
Afternoon Yoga: Deep relaxing session to stretch out the limbs after walking and climbing the hills. Restorative and restorative to ensure a good nights sleep
6:00PM - 6:30PM
Healthy evening meal with wonderful chef John Angus and Nicola Orr - these two will loving create the most mind blowing, colourful, delightful cuisine that looks too good to eat.
7:30PM - 8:00PM
Evening Meditation to help ease you into a deep slumber

I have been on several retreats organised and/or led by Laura Grace. They were all wonderful. Her attention to every detail, and her care for every person, is tangible. Her love for yoga together with her fun, gentle and encouraging teaching style, mean that there is very quickly a sense of a supportive and inclusive community.
