About The Retreat
Join us in Italy for rest, sunbathing and exploring beautiful Lazio, an hour north of Rome in the Sabine Hills near the border with Umbria. This retreat is all about 'Dolce Far Niente' - the sweetness of doing nothing. This is one of our favourite phrases - encapsulating an Italian philosophy of delicious idleness. So that's what we will be doing (or rather, being) - deliciously idle. We will have vinyasa yoga in the mornings, and yin and/or nidra in the afternoons. There will be plenty of time to relax, sunbathe, walk, read, and swim in the pool. The yoga classes are themed around the natural elements, bringing nature into your practice. All activities are optional but encouraged, so you can nap, read or swim and explore - it’s completely up to you. Our venue comprises of two lovingly restored rustic, ancient stone farmhouses. The extensive grounds are cultivated with care and reverence for nature with shaded terraces, intimate hideaways and quirky nooks. Rooms will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. There are a range of double and twin rooms in the two properties that make up our venue, as well as two bell tents to choose from. Most of the rooms are en-suite but three share a bathroom. There are two solo occupancy rooms available. Sunday 11th - Saturday 17st June 2025. From £1,315 for a double twin and £1,205 for a triple room, or private bell tent for one for £1,095. Frequently Asked Questions
Who is it for?
Our retreats are for anyone who wants to re-wild and relax. We welcome everyone over 18 of any ability - just come with an open heart and mind. To get the most out of our yoga retreats, we recommend taking part in at least 3/4 yoga classes before joining. Please note, the landscape surroinding our venue is hilly so if you are joining the hike a reasonable level of mobility and fitness is required. If you're unsure if it's for you, drop us an email with any questions and we can always have a call. We are afraid that due to the nature and location of this retreat we are not able to cater for gluten free guests this time, apologies! A basic level of fitness and mobility is required - there is quite a steep hill to walk up and down to get to the lake (although you can walk down the lane instead which is much less steep) and the ground at Campwell is uneven.
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just finding your yogi legs you are very welcome.
Do I need equipment?
For the yoga: Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks are provided. Please bring warm layers and socks for the yin yoga and yoga Nidra classes.
Where is it?
Via Pizzuti, 53, 02049 Torri in Sabina RI, Italy The best way to reach our venue is either by the transfer, or car (if you're hiring one) or you can get the train and then a taxi. We can help book taxis and recommend trains if needed. The camp is 25 minutes away from Bath Spa station, so just jump in a taxi to us. We can help coordinate sharing taxis between guests if you are on the same train, and there is space on the booking form to let us know if you would like to lift share with other guests.
