About The Retreat
5 nights in the gorgeous Portuguese Sun: Great Food, Complete Relaxation, Focused Training Revitalise your mind, body and soul on our 5 night all-inclusive fitness & wellbeing trip! Join us for an all-inclusive break that will offer a multitude of benefits. It combines a blend of fun & varied fitness options, super healthy & delicious food, like-minded people, and most importantly, refreshing cocktails in the Portuguese sunshine. We welcome all walks of life on our retreats and if you want to take a day by the pool or explore the local areas that’s okay with us. Coached by an experienced team from Starks Fitness, Bristol, England who will guide you through a series of training methods and styles including strength, endurance, calisthenics and yoga. We strive to provide the highest level of service and ensure you leave our Retreat with a very happy Mind, Body & Soul. ENERGISING MORNING FLOW / WAKE UP RUN Join 1 of our coaches leading an energising yoga session by the pool, or explore the countryside and elevate your heart rate.
7:30AM - 8:45AM
BREAKFAST Enjoy a buffet style breakfast with a selection of fruits, protein pancakes and more.
9:00AM - 10:30AM
SESSION 1 This could be an Upper Body focused workout - focusing on strength protocols and specific movement patterns - or a sweaty HIIT with the team. Our training itinerary is varied and optional.
10:30AM - 12:00PM
DOWNTIME Explore the countryside, discover all of the outdoor activities available or simply sunbathe by the pool. This is also a great opportunity to have 1-1 consultation with your coach.
12:00PM - 1:30PM
LUNCH Enjoy a buffet style lunch prepared for you by our chefs.
1:30PM - 3:00PM
SESSION 2 This could be a sweaty conditioning session, or perhaps a more skill-based session. Our coaches specialise in strength, Calisthenics and more, giving you the opportunity to discover new movement.
3:00PM - 6:00PM
DOWNTIME It's your retreat, your way - time to relax, canoe or grab some mountain bikes to explore the surroundings! Prefer to socialise? Head to the bar area to find ping-pong tables.
6:00PM - 7:30PM
DINNER Enjoy a freshly cooked tasty meal and a glass of wine or beer - all prepared by our chef on site with some ingredients picked from the grounds!
7:30PM - 8:30PM
YIN YOGA Wind down with gentle Yin - this practice allows you to slow down, relax, and turn inward, which helps alleviate stress and restore your energy levels.
8:30PM - 10:59PM
BAR Enjoy drinks and cocktails with your fellow retreaters

Had the best week at the Starks Retreat! So much fun with an amazing group of people. The setting was beautiful and loved all the animals around. It was great to have everything included in the price, from delicious food to cocktails from the bar! All the workout sessions were really enjoyable and was such fun trying different things. A good balance between working out and having fun which is right up my street!

The Starks Retreat was something I thought I would never be able to do - I thought it would be for fitness levels way higher than mine. How wrong was I!? The coaches were amazing, the equipment was varied and inclusive, the venue was sensational and the yoga was nothing short of beautiful, Emily was the best yoga instructor I’d ever had…

The best 5 day holiday I’ve ever had. Great to be with like minded people, great trainers and all in a fantastic location. A river to swim, kayak and SUP. Mountains to walk, run or ride a mountain bike. Training facilities to suit all people and standards of strength and fitness. Trainers that adapt quickly to the client’s expectations. Just brilliant, confirmed my booking for next year.
