About The Retreat

The retreat is a unique blend of yoga, wild swimming, psychology, reflection, fell-walking, personality profiling, stress and resilience coaching all designed to help you live your best life. Your hosts and co-founders of The Resilience Retreat; Ainsley & Caroline have created the ultimate self care package. Ainsley is an experienced yoga teacher & sound therapist. Caroline is a corporate trainer specialising in stress and resilience. Ainsley's yoga teaching style is inclusive and accessible. You do not need to be an experienced yogi. Classes will be a mix of Vinyasa and Yin. The legendary Gilly Macarthur will be leading the wild swimming direct from the door. The retreat is aimed at women who; feel they are heading for burn-out and need to stop and take back control of their life. Feel like they need a clear plan to re-assess their life and set some powerful actions and goals. Need the time and space to step out of their busy lives and set time aside for them - this retreat is the ultimate form of self-care. Escape to Silverholme Manor. We have exclusive access to this fabulous 5-star Georgian house surrounded by idyllic woodland, with uninterrupted Lake Windermere views and the Lake District fells. Situated on the Graythwaite Estate, this setting is the perfect switch off spot, allowing you to fully immerse yourself into everything The Resilience Retreat has to offer. Group coaching will be held in the beautiful and inspiring drawing room with panoramic views of the Lake. Yoga & Pilates classes will be held in the cosy, light filled, lakeside Coach House. You'll be treated to a dreamy sound bath on the first night after dinner. Enjoy nutritious locally sourced food and drink from an award-winning private chef. Wake up in one of the most stunning locations in the UK, the bedrooms are luxurious and the perfect place to relax, reflect and recharge. This really is a retreat like no other.
Itinerary
1Day 1
2:00PM - 3:00PM
Arrivals are from 3pm. You’ll have time to settle into your room and enjoy a drink and a snack before we head outside for a quick tour of the magnificent estate and Lakeside. This will ensure that you get your bearings and then feel confident to head out for a walk or run at your leisure.
5:00PM - 6:00PM
6pm - You will receive the results of your DiSC profiling and Caroline will help you to understand your profile. It’s fascinating and you will gain some incredible insights into yourself.
6:00PM - 9:00PM
Dinner is at 7pm and then after dinner there will be a relaxing bedtime yoga session topped off with a dreamy soundbath. Everyone is encouraged to attend this evening session in PJ's or comfies so that you can head straight off to bed and feel restored in the morning.
2Day 2

Energizing Yoga & Pilates to start the day followed by breakfast
9:00AM - 11:30PM
Wild Swimming with Gilly Macarthur & Vicki McCreadie We've got 2 amazing instructors with us for the morning so that we can cater for all abilities. Everyone will be briefed with the safest entry and exit points to the Lake so that you can then access it at your leisure for the remainder of the retreat for a cold dip or swim.
