About The Retreat
Located on a restored 13th-century farm, nestled inside an evergreen forest and overlooking the rolling Tuscan Hills, you will embrace Italy’s oldest traditions. Your ultimate escape to restore balance, where yoga meets culture and history and just minutes away from the medieval walled town of Monteriggioni. Ebbio Estate is within easy reach of nearby cities, including Siena and Florence, yet offers seclusion and serenity, surrounded by nature. With a spacious indoor yoga shala, outdoor patio, and nine uniquely designed rooms with earthly colours and windows to enjoy the scenery of Tuscany. There are plenty of zen spaces to relax and unwind with hammocks on site, whether it's sunbathing, reading or star-gazing, you will feel completely immersed. Just like yoga, a good meal nourishes all the senses and brings people together. The villa dedicates itself to the organic cultivation of olive trees, vineyards, fruit, vegetables and herbs, which are used to prepare farm-to-table meals daily. Meals will be served at large communal tables, with farm-to-table produce on the outdoor patio. Ebbio uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients, primarily grown on-site, which are certified organic. The ultimate farm-to-table retreat. Their mantra is ‘food is medicine’, and their meals complement what’s in season at their farm. A typical day on retreat will begin with a 2-hour practice, vinyasa or a workshop-style class & evenings will wind down with a restorative or yin practice. Between classes, you will have ample free time so you can explore and rest at your leisure. We have planned some very special experiences including wine tastings at a local vineyard, tasting local flavours with an onsite cooking class and enjoy a conscious feast with our live music & bonfire night. Tuscany is famous for its culture and history. There is much to explore close by, including hot springs, local villages and many more vineyards to explore. This retreat will be a cultural immersion in everything the area has to offer. The magical location offers seclusion and wanderlust surrounded by rolling hills and provides a true sanctuary in which to escape the pressures of busy life and explore the sights and sounds of this beautiful country. Together, we will unwind, reconnect, and “retreat” ourselves. We love yoga, we love to travel, and creating magic that happens only on a retreat!

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this retreat for?
Our retreats are available to anyone who is wanting to take a week off from their busy life and experience a week of yoga, nourishing food and connect with like minded people in the most dreamy places. Whether you’re a regular practitioner or new to yoga, you’re all welcome and will be fully supported. We will be moving our bodies a lot on retreat so please let us know in your booking form if you have any injuries, health conditions or recent surgeries so we can cater for you.
Do I need to have a regular yoga practice to attend?
All of our retreats are availale to the beginner yogi to the advanced and the non-yogi partner or friend that is brand new to yoga. We are all about inclusivity and inspiring people to live their lives to the fullest in a healthy way.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! A yoga retreat is a great place to make new friends and meet like minded people. You are welcome to book a single room or we can pair you up with other solo travellers for a shared room if available. If for some reason there is no one to pair you with for a shared room, you would need to pay for a single room.
How many people will be on the retreat?
Typically our experiences average between 10 - 18 students and ensure the perfect teacher to studio ratio so everyone feels supported and connected.
What food can I expect on retreat?
Only the best! We love food and it is such an important part of the retreat experience. We work with our venues to curate a beautiful menu of fresh and local cuisines. Typically meals are communal and a time to connect and share. If you have any dietary or medical considerations, please let us know in your booking form.
Are flight and airport transfers included?
Flights and transfers are not included in the retreat price unless otherwise specified for your destination.
How do I get to the retreat venue?
We recommend flying into Pisa or Florence. From there you can catch the train to Siena followed by a 25-minute taxi to the venue. We can help you organise your journey to and from the venue, super easy. Let us know upon booking if you require some help organising your transport.
What should I bring?
We will provide you with a suggested packing list for each retreat. We always recommend a swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, walking shoes, journal, reusable water bottle and of course, comfortable athletic wear for duration of your retreat. We will let you know if you need to bring a yoga mat and props or if they will be provided by the venue.

My retreat was one of the most invigorating trips in my life. Good company, good food, and good flows made for a rejuvenating week in NZ wine country. Janet, Amy, and Bec are fantastic yoga instructors and excellent facilitators of community and personal growth. This was my first yoga retreat and I highly recommend this retreat if you’re considering your first.
