Your retreat is led by Nicola. Nicola's teaching are heavily influenced by the origins of yoga, with most of her trainings embodied in India. She carefully intertwines the creative evolution of practice with thoughtfully paired music to help you drop into soulful connection within, so you will experience both depth and inspiration and in your classes. 

You are in well equipped hands no matter what your experience on the mat as Nicola is also also a yoga teacher trainer. 

Whilst enjoying a luxurious stay in your villa, you are moments away from beaches, boutique cafes, and local culture. Enjoying luxuries and simplicities. During your stay you will be provided with on demand exceptional customer service. Whether you want help with where to get the best coffee in your free time, how to get in a tuk tuk to get around, organise transport or an excursion, or anything else you want to do on the island, you will be assisted by our team.

A chance to have a reset before the busy festive season begins and a chance to nurture yourself. This 5-day retreat will be filled with meditation, journaling, yoga, workshops, massages, facials, a chance to explore Marrakech if you wish or simply enjoy lying by the pool in tranquil surroundings.

Villa Dar Moulouya is situated just 20 minutes outside of Marrakech city centre. The Villa itself has 7 beautiful colourful bedrooms, 5 of these are en suite. Boasting a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a large mature garden with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. Dar Moulouya's wonderful chef Rabia will be cooking on this retreat and serving up delicious healthy locally sourced produce and food.

This particular retreat is open to all levels, my classes always have variations for those wanting to go deeper, or take a slightly lighter class. Morning classes will be a warming Vinyasa Flow or Hatha class and afternoon classes will be Yin or Restorative Yoga. I also will be offering meditations and guided journaling on this retreat.

I am a qualified yoga teacher, with 500 hours training in Advanced Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga. I specialise in warming and creative Vinyasa flow as well as Yin Yoga. I offer online and in person classes if you want to see how I teach before booking!

During the Connect Retreat we will practice this everyday, so it becomes a part of you too and keeps you calm, connected and happy when you’re back home. 
 
So how do we get sisu?
 
By practicing. By challenging ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. By connecting body, mind and soul.  
 
Think of sisu as a muscle that you can strengthen and train (the more you train the bigger and stronger it gets). That’s exactly what we do during our Connect Retreat. 
 
✨Sauna bathing relaxes your muscles but it also challenges you to endure the heat
✨Ice Bathing refreshes your body but it also invites you to surrender to the cold 
✨Foraging and forest bathing are big parts of Finnish culture, where we learn about edibles and non-edibles at a very early age to build confidence in basic survival instincts
✨Dancing with your eyes closed to release stuck energies and break out of your comfort zone 
✨Birches are a national tree in Finland that we will use to make birch twig branches to whip the body and cleanse the skin and body and strengthen the immune system, because gladly our space is in the midst of birches 
✨Painting with handmade water colors can be super meditative and if it brings you joy it can spark your creativity within
✨Cleansing Practices and delicious plant-based food to nourish and detox you from the inside out for a healthier feeling
